The Spring Festival is the most important traditional festival for Chinese people.

To create a happy and peaceful festive atmosphere and promote communication and culture blending between China and foreign countries, the international students of the Phoenix School experienced a variety of traditional cultural activities. At the same time, they participated in the program recording which was organized by Zhuhai TV, Office of Foreign Affairs Committee of the CPC Zhuhai Municipal Committee,  People's Daily  and International Students Office of Beijing Normal University, leaving them good memories of celebrating the Spring Festival of 2022 in China.

On the first day of the Lunar New Year, Office of Foreign Affairs Committee of the CPC Zhuhai Municipal Committee invited the international students of Beijing Normal University to take part in the activity of "Love Zhuhai, Celebrate the Chinese New Year." They experienced the traditional Chinese New Year folk activities such as lion dancing and paper-cutting for window decorations. They also held a small dry land curling competition to welcome the Beijing Winter Olympics, which gave them an opportunity to deeply experience the pleasure of Chinese New Year.
